Opening a Store – Benefits


Upon payment (in phases) you will receive a turnkey operation, from walk in fridge,  shelving, signage, retail system, liquor license submission, right through to having your manager, assistant manager and unskilled employees trained to the highest level customer service, stock control, presentation and goal driven ambition to ensure the store expands. All franchisee’s stores operate independently.

Opening a Store

To start up an eLiquor Franchise Store, a total investment of at least R500 000 is required (R 330 000 for Franchise Set-Up, R 120 000 for Stock and deposit for Premises) with a minimum deposit of R100 000 in order to ensure the franchisee a hold on his/her desired area of trade, a five year contract and the start of negotiations with the landlord of the preferential property.

  • Deposit: R 100,000.00 (Excluding VAT) on signature of the agreement;

Before commencement of the installation of the shop fittings and fixtures, and liquor license submission;

  • Week 1: R 150,000.00 (Excluding VAT);

Before POS (Point of sale is delivered and installed);

  • Week 2: R 60,000.00 (Excluding VAT);

Before CCTV Cameras is delivered and installed;

  • Week 3: R 20,000.00 (Excluding VAT);

Upon settlement of payment in phases, work will commence on the setup of your newly purchased store and the franchisee will receive:

  1. General Trading Equipment – (supplied & fitted / movable):

– 1x Walk in Beverage / Beer fridge


  1. Shop fitting & Shelving: (supplied & installed / fitted – permanent & movable)

– Bulk heads – Point of Sale (POS) Counter & Impulse Purchase Shelving

– High risk counter shelving fitted behind POS

– Impulse shelving fitted inside POS area

– Gondolas

– Floor Display shelving (as per fixed lay-out floor plan)

– Back boards for shelving – High risk counter shelving fitted behind POS


  1. System:

– 4 Channel Standalone Real Time, MPEG-4 VGA out, TV out & USB – 80GB HDD

– 4 Day / Night Cameras – 17” Monitor, Cabling & Power Supply

– 2 X Cash registers (Networked to operation system) & Cash Draws

– 2 X Hand Held Scanners

– Central operations & Back office system, including PC & Printer assisting you with the following trade-specific needs: Orders, Sales Reports & Profit Reports, Daily Cash ups, Price adjustments and immediate update to networked cash registers,  Stock Control, Stock Takes, Stock Inventories, Suppliers (Creditors), Customers (Debtors), Inter-Store Transfers, Printing labels, Store Promotions, Remote Access from PC, iPad or Tablet.

  1. Signage & Marketing:


– eLiquor Branded shop-front Signage (as per Trademark specs)

– Store Signage (as per Trademark specs)

– Bulkhead Signage

– Brand Headers

– Feather Banners & “Spinner”

– Advertising launch in local newspaper

– “Opening Soon” Banner (2m X 1m).

– 2000 Flyers inviting clients to launch, with date of opening outlet.

– Promotional “bib’s”.

– Initial eLiquor branded Golf shirts (2 x each Staff member).

– Initial eLiquor branded Caps (1 x each Staff member).


  1. Initial Trading Consumables: (Once off)

– Shelf Edge Strips (Colour Codes to Shelving)

– Marking Gun & Pricing Labels Launch & Brand Activation as per Launch Specs.
